This week , I took part many activities about handicraft arts . First activitiy is about plant . I learned how to take care of succulent plant . We do not give too mush water and sun , and we have to give it water for night . It aiso need to special earth . We used many  succulent plants to  compose our  works , it so beautiful .
Second activities is adout music box . We put some  artificial grass and snow on the music box . Teacher give us some doll which  about  Miyazaki Hayao work . It so cute . I have a funny week .

              
 

This week , we went to mountain to prepare  a activity for our underclassmen .  When  Friday ,  we went to the mountains to prepare for this event . There are so beautiful , but it night is so cold . This night I sew many star . I  very expect to coming tomorrow . Second day , We prepare many funny activities for them , like danace . This night we preare a campfire party for our underclassmen . They very happy . Third day , we paly RPG game , in the game , I  act Hermione Granger . We have a good time . In three days we have many beautiful recall . I am so happy . 

My favorite place

My favorite place is Kyoto . It is in Japan . I very like Kyoto , although I never go to Kyoto . The building is so beautiful and spectacular , and it scenery is very pretty , too. Kyoto is special about the ancient blilding The building is related about Japan history . It is many famous location , like about Kiyomizu Temple and golden temple . I very like Kyoto , because I like Japan history and building . I very want to go to Kyoto . I wish I can go to Kyoto one day . If I go to Kyoto , I will feel really happy and excited. .

My summer vacation

My summer vacation is nothing , every day I sleep until 12 clock . Sometimes my sister and I went go shopping . I bought some clothes and shoes . I went to Taipei 1 week to visit my aunt. I went Ximending with my sister and I ate so many food , like fried chicken and milk tea .
I bought some art book to taught how to draw . I like the book and I drew some pictures . I hope my pictures make many people feel happy.

洋玉蘭

 

荷花玉蘭（學名：Magnolia grandiflora），又名洋玉蘭（中國樹木分類學）、廣玉蘭（上海），為木蘭科木蘭屬的植物，原產美洲，北美洲以及中國大陸的長江流域及其以南有栽培，北方如北京、蘭州等地有引種。供觀賞，花含芳香油。

 

洋玉蘭的得名

中台禪寺鹿野園中的怡笑花，是含笑高接辛夷而成的園藝品種。 洋玉蘭準備開花時，首先是抽出上尖下圓，呈水滴形的花苞。洋玉蘭是美國南方庭園中的常見花木，也常被當作行道樹、園景樹。

 

 

 

型態

枝幹：常綠喬木，高度可達30米，樹冠卵狀圓錐形，小枝和芽均有銹色柔毛。

葉：荷花玉蘭葉卵狀長橢圓形，厚革質，長10－20厘米，表面有光澤，背面有銹色柔毛，邊緣微反卷。

 

 

花：荷花玉蘭花一般為白色，花的直徑可達20－30厘米，花瓣通常為6片，有時多達9片，花大如荷花，因此得名荷花玉蘭。花期5-7月。

洋玉蘭開花的過程：洋玉蘭準備開花時，首先是抽出上尖下圓，呈水滴形的花苞。花苞裹在綠色的苞片裡，隨著花苞長大，苞片的綠色漸褪而轉為黃褐色，終於褐色的苞片露出破綻，洋玉蘭露臉了，苞片也脫落了。初展容顏的洋玉蘭起初作鬆散的合掌狀，然後九個白色的花被片向四面八方開展，終於完全展開，像一朵盛開的白蓮。

洋玉蘭的花被片通常是九片三層，最外層的三片相當於花萼，內側的兩層六片，相當於花瓣，它們形態相同，只是外側被片稍大，內側較小。一朵花從破苞而出到完全開放，約三到五天，雖然時間不長，但整個花季短則一、二個星期，長則可達一、兩個月。花季中的洋玉蘭樹，頓時成了「蓮花」樹。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

夏天開花後，眾多的心皮如果授粉成功，就可發育成狀如「釋迦」的一串果，秋天果實成熟後，每個果實都是單邊開裂的蓇葖果（像八角茴香一樣）。成熟的種子具有鮮紅的假種皮，在果皮上懸垂著，看起來彷彿一條條白色細絲，繫著一顆顆紅色的相思豆，分外美麗。此外，洋玉蘭在花季招蜂引蝶，用它的花香、花粉、花蜜饗宴昆蟲，據說美國南部的松鼠和野鳥常會啃食花苞、種子，藉此傳播種子。

 

種子：荷花玉蘭的種子外皮為紅色，9－10月果熟。

 

 

 

 

 

 

洋玉蘭原產地

 

 　　洋玉蘭原產於北美洲南部，因此在美國也叫作「南方木蘭」（Southern magnolia），高可達27公尺，徑可達90公分。葉互生，有柄，葉片長橢圓形，全緣，長可達13～20公分，葉表亮綠，葉背密披鏽色絨毛，五、六月間開花，花色象牙白，朵大似荷花，徑可達15～30公分，有令人愉悅的香氣。因為花大如蓮，又高舉於樹梢，因此華人又稱它為「木蓮」或「荷花木蘭」，在台灣的寺院經常可見。不過，它需要稍大的成長空間，以長成高廣的成熟樹株，用以遮蔭或乘涼。

 

 　　美國南部各州，由北卡羅來那州沿大西洋岸到中佛羅里達州，向西經過喬治亞州南部，阿拉巴馬州及密西西比州，路易斯安那州直到德州中部，乃至夏威夷，都有洋玉蘭的分布，因此洋玉蘭是南方庭園中的常見花木，也常被當作行道樹、園景樹。目前洋玉蘭是密西西比州的州樹，也是路易斯安那州的州花。而它芬芳、美麗、象牙色的大花朵，以及常綠革質的大綠葉，遍植於南方庭園與街道的特質，已使它成為美國南方人表示友善的象徵。

 

 　　有幾株有名的洋玉蘭常為人津津樂道，第一棵是在路易斯安那州的洋玉蘭巨木，高達79呎、冠幅71呎，樹幹周長18呎。第二棵是在北卡羅來那州，雖然沒有前者那麼高，卻有著更寬廣的冠幅，達82呎，樹幹周長16呎。此外，美國傑克森總統為了紀念愛妻，而在白宮南柱廊的旁邊也手植一株洋玉蘭，原在南方茁壯生長的洋玉蘭，移植到位於北方的華盛頓還可以適應，並且開花，傳達了「南北一家」的訊息。
